Shakira is eager to be matched with an adoptive family! She is assertive and advocates strongly for herself. Shakira doesn't currently play sports but was previously involved in cheerleading since the age of 5 and won several trophies. Shakira recently expressed an interested in joining weightlifting and/or track as she wants to try out something new. Shakira reported that her favorite activities are sleeping and going outside, and she has previously reported enjoying drawing, going out to eat, shopping, reading, dancing, braiding hair, listening to music from the 80's and 90's, as well as getting her hair and nails done. Staff at the group home report that a special day for Shakira would be going for a long car ride and then to the spa for a pedicure. Shakira denied having a favorite television show or movie. Shakira's strengths were identified as her persistence and curiosity. Shakira identified her own strengths as being a leader and a peace maker. Shakira has a desire to go to college and study law, as she wants to protect people from criminals. Shakira also reported that she has bonded with Jesus as her Father.

Cheyanne is a shy and quiet teenage girl. She likes drawing and working with animals. Cheyanne would benefit from having an adoptive family with a single mother or same-sex female couple.

Messiah is an intelligent girl who aspires to work with animals when she grows up. Messiah's favorite animal is a hedgehog. She also loves dogs, especially pit bulls and hopes to have her own emotional support dog some day. Messiah is very creative and enjoys drawing, sewing, gymnastics and dance. Messiah has experienced a lot in her young life resulting in emotional scars. She is learning to express her fears and anger through therapy and is finding inner strength for coping with her feelings. She has experienced a lot of loss in her life and will likely take some time trusting a new family. Due to these many losses, she needs a family that can maintain her important connections to include a connection with her sister. Messiah verbalizes concerns and hopes about having a home and a place to belong. There is much potential in this child but she needs help harnessing it. Messiah would thrive in a 2 parent household that can provide her a lot of attention and would do best in a home as an only child or in a home with an older sister.

Meet Brice! Brice can be shy at times but once she is able to get comfortable she will open up and be a very vibrant young lady. Just as any teen age girl she has her days but she is loving and respectful. Brice needs a family that can and will listen to her wants and needs. She needs a family that will allow her to express herself in the best ways possible. She needs a family the can provide structure and patience.

Mariah is an outgoing, confident, 16-year-old girl that describes herself as a good sister, dancer, singer, and cook. Her favorite food to cook is Puerto Rican food. She has big goals, never gives up, and believes in herself to accomplish her dreams! Mariah loves being in Belleview, Florida, and would like to attend Marion Technical College after high school and become a nail technician. Mariah has also expressed that she would love to one day join a bowling or dance team. She would thrive with a family that supports her afterschool extracurriculars and her visions for adulthood. Mariah expressed that she would enjoy being with an adventurous family that was outdoorsy and could take her camping or hiking. Mariah thrives when she is in an environment that allows her to explore her interests, grow independently in her own space, and understands her bold and boundless energy. Mariah would do best placed with a family in the Belleview area and would prefer a home with minimal or no other children. Maggie is a beautiful African American teenager who enjoys fashion and putting outfits together. She also likes to watch anime and enjoys spending time with friends. Maggie loves books and will benefit from a family invested in her academic endeavors. She is looking for a forever family where she can feel safe and succeed, a family that will provide her with unconditional love, support, and guidance. Samantha is a strong willed, loving and sensitive young lady who loves attention and being engaged in activities. She enjoys talking and making jokes. She can be a great helper when needed Samantha loves sports and her favorite sport is softball. Math is her favorite subject and she is currently on grade level. Samantha likes to dabble in cosmetology, she loves doing anything with hair and being creative. Her favorite thing to do is go to the pool and hang out with friends. In her free time, she like scrolling through social media or just being around family. Samantha would do great in a family that can provide her with stability, structure and love!

Berlin is a strong willed, loving and sensitive young person. They enjoy watching shows on Netflix and playing on their phone. They value family and want to remain in contact with their brother, grandmother and other extended family members. Berlin is making positive progress in school. Berlin will be successful with a family who accepts them, can help them manage their feeling related to their many losses.

Say hello to Jasmine! Jasmine is a vibrant, friendly, and goal driven teen. She is an avid reader and especially likes fantasy genre books. Jasmine's caregiver describes her as a very caring, helpful, intelligent, and compassionate young lady. Jasmine's future plans include attending college and majoring in criminology. Education means a lot to Jasmine, and she is interested in a career in law enforcement. Jasmine is athletic and enjoys exercising, including running, skateboarding, and playing basketball and softball. Her absolute favorite place to be is the beach and she is a very good swimmer. Jasmine's dream vacation would be to visit Spain one day. Jasmine would do well in a family who can provide her love and support as she becomes a young adult.

Danielle is a very active child who likes arts and craft. She likes to make bracelets and keep herself busy making jewelry. Danielle also likes board games and likes to play with her friends. Danielle does best when she is enrolled in other activities and really enjoys it. Danielle will need a 2 parent family that provide her with the attention she needs to be successful.
